Coronavirus information for Tenants and Landlords

Update 5th January 2021

Here we are again! It seems like it was only 9 months ago that we entered a full national lockdown.

We expect this to follow the same model of working as the previous full lockdown.

Our office will be closed until further notice, but the team are all working remotely. All tenancies continue as before including student tenancies. It is expected that if you are at your student property you should remain there (eg not going home) unless the Goverment announces otherwise. Our normal communication channels are open – phone on 0151 733 2200, emails at our various email addresses as well as via the live chat on the website which goes to our reception staff.

Our property management team will continue to provide the property management service; houses will be inspected within their routine checks as normal and safety checks carried out at HMO properties. Our maintenance teams are still working however we expect there to be some delays; our lockdown SLA will apply during this period (28 days to assess issues), however we will push for fast resolution to all issues.

Viewings will continue on vacant properties and may be possible on let properties subject to tenants granting permission and it being safe to do so. We undertook a full update of our portfolio over summer to create virtual tours and video tours, and have procedures in place to allow properties to be let without viewings, so we are hoping to not have to view properties until after “lockdown 2”.

Thanks for your patience during this period

If you need

The Topproperty Team
