Coronavirus information for Tenants and Landlords

Belated update 28/07/2020. Our office is fully open for visits. Please call before arranging to come. If you are picking up keys to move in, please book an appointment here.

Previous updates
We are sure that by now, you are fully aware of the outbreak of Covid-19 (coronavirus) and have been bombarded with information some of which is helpful and some quite confusing so we would like to keep this as concise as possible whilst providing you with the assurance that we are taking preventative and protective measures wherever possible.

Our office is closing to visits to members of the public until further notice.

In the event that you are self-isolating, please make us aware of this as soon as possible so that we can arrange for any pre-booked appointments or visits to be rearranged.

Property Inspections have been placed on hold. Viewings will continue at properties.  However, we may ask some initial questions before confirming a visit with regard to any recent travel and your own wellness.  Please don’t be surprised or offended by this as the questions are routine and for the safety and protection of you, our contractors and our team.

If you live in a property with communal areas, please ensure that when entering or leaving a property via the communal parts of the building, you are aware of your own respiratory hygiene (coughing and sneezing into your elbow/single use tissue which is properly disposed of).   Please also be aware of the hygiene of the surfaces that you touch, such as handrails, door handles, access intercoms, etc.

It is important to increase the regularity of your hand washing as well as the efficiency of it and there are very helpful guides which can be found on the government website.  Soap should always be used with warm/hot water but where this isn’t possible, the use of an antibacterial hand sanitiser should be used.  This is good practise and should be adopted generally, not only in response to Covid-19.

We would also ask that anyone who has recently travelled from the hotspots as listed by the government or those who have come into contact with anyone that may have returned from these areas, that you do not visit our office without a prior appointment arranged.  We can always answer any queries you may have over the phone or via email.

If you are generally feeling unwell with a cold, cough or flu-like symptoms, please only use methods of contact such as the telephone, email, Whatsapp, messenger or text rather than visiting the office.  As we work with a wide variety of people, including individuals who may be more vulnerable than you, we take the health and wellbeing of our clients and staff very seriously and sincerely hope that you will appreciate the change in our approach during this sensitive and challenging time.

Should you have any queries or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to let us know.
